| Art Clay Silver Short Introductory 2-3 hours £55 Introductory 4 hours £65 During the Introductory course, you will make a pendant with a stone setting. You will learn how to handle the clay to make your pendant, fire and polish your piece of pure silver jewellery and learn how to set a stone. Same as the above course, but includes extra clay to make a second piece of jewellery of your own design with guidance from the tutor. Jump rings and 16 or 18" sterling silver chain included in both workshops. | |
| Art Clay Silver Introductory 1 day (approx 6 -7 hours) Suitable for both novices and those familiar with working with Art Clay Silver (ACS) and Precious Metal Clay (PMC). £85 | Some of the techniques involved: Familiarisation with different forms of Art Clay Silver Preparing the Art Clay Silver Working the clay into appropriate shapes Using Paste form to make a pendant necklace from a natural leaf, adding texture, adding relief, drying the clay, Finishing the clay prior to firing Different firing methods Polishing and finishing your silver jewellery All materials and use of tools are included in the cost. Classes are taught by a certified art clay silver teacher. All classes are small, friendly and informal with the emphasis on enjoying being creative and learning new skills. |

Cancellation Policy We reserve the right to postpone or cancel a workshop due to staff sickness. There is no refund on a jewellery school booking up to 72 hours before the event, there is a 50 % refund for cancellations 5 days prior. You can postpone the date of attendance to your workshop if more than 48 hours notice is given. | This workshop teaches you how to use Photopolymer plates with Art Clay Silver or PMC and includes hand/footprints. A one day course, it is suitable for both novices and those more familiar with working with Art Clay Silver (ACS) or Precious Metal Clay (PMC). The basics of making textures and moulds from photopolymer plates will be introduced as well as how to prepare a test strip. You will be creating a piece of jewellery from that mould. Workshop includes 10g of Silver Clay, sample artwork, photopolymer plate and the use of all tools needed. |
